Infill Media

Our premium selection of infill media can help to further customize the appearance of your new fire feature. Our rolled lava rock is great for achieving a traditional look while the smooth basalt (available in off-white and gray) is perfect for those wanting a more contemporary aesthetic.

We have tested our infill options for use in high-heat environments. All of our offerings have been selected for their physical aesthetic and flame-producing properties. However, rolled lava and smooth basalt are both 100% natural products and occasional cracking and/or popping may occur when heated for the first time.

Only fire-rated infill provided by Lumacast should be used in your fire feature. Any unapproved infill may explode causing injury or damage to your fire feature and property and will void your warranty. The infill can change color over time when introduced to flame; this is most prominent with propane as a fuel source.
